Cubed Coffee Jelly
This simple cubic coffee jelly dessert takes just 10 minutes to prepare, then all you need to do is pop it in the fridge to set.
Ingredients
instant coffee
3 tbsp
water
600 ml
fine granulated sugar
70 g
powdered edible gelatin (sifted into cold water to soak)
12 g
cold water
4 tbsp
gum syrup
to taste
heavy cream (lightly whipped)
80 ml
mint leaves
to taste
Instructions
1
Dissolve edible gelatin in the coffee mixture
Add material A to a pot and turn on the heat. Turn off the heat once the fine granulated sugar is fully dissolved. Add the edible gelatin and stir until completely dissolved.
2
Pour coffee jelly mixture into a square mold
Once step 1 has cooled slightly, pour the mixture into a wet square mold and place it in the refrigerator to set.
3
Remove from mold and cut into small pieces
Once step 2 is fully set, place the mold in a ceramic dish filled with hot water to loosen the jelly. Remove the jelly from the mold, cut it into 2 cm cubes, drizzle with gum syrup, and top with lightly whipped heavy cream and mint leaves.
