Carrot Patties

Ingredients

carrot (washed, finely chopped) to taste
bread (crusts removed, soaked in milk briefly) to taste
breadcrumbs to taste
beaten egg to taste
milk to taste
vegetable oil to taste
white sugar a pinch

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the carrot, finely chop it, place it in a pot, pour in boiling water so the water just covers the carrot, add a pinch of white sugar, cover the pot and simmer for 15 minutes.

Remove the crusts from the bread, soak it in milk for a short while, take it out, combine it with the carrot, grind into a paste, add beaten egg and mix thoroughly, shape into small patties, coat the surface with whipped egg white, dip evenly in breadcrumbs and set aside.

Place the pot on the stove, pour in vegetable oil and heat until hot, add the prepared small patty blanks, fry until cooked through.
