Ingredients
Chocolate (use a large block that's easy to hold; chill it slightly in the refrigerator before grating to firm it up. If your hands run warm, place a piece of paper underneath to insulate it)

Preparing the Chocolate
Use a large block of chocolate that is easy to hold. Before grating, chill the chocolate in the refrigerator briefly so it hardens a bit. If your hands run warm, place a piece of paper between them and the chocolate to keep it from softening.

Grating
Use a grater with a coarse surface to grate the chocolate. Place a sheet of greaseproof paper or a plate underneath while working.
