Ingredients

unsweetened chocolate 8 (1 oz)

all-purpose flour 1-1/2 cups

Instructions

Make the brownies

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Melt the chocolate and butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently. Let cool slightly. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and almond extract for about 2 to 3 minutes until blended. Add the melted chocolate mixture, beating at low speed. Add the flour and beat just until blended. Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour into a greased jelly roll pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool in the pan.

Assemble

Use the open end of an empty push-pop container to cut circles from the brownie. Stack 2 brownie circles in each push-pop. Just before serving, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Garnish with sprinkles and cherries.
