Ingredients

Brownie (baked and cooled using an 8-cup silicone round brownie mold) as needed
Buttercream Icing (for coating) to taste
Fondant (red, green, blue, white) (rolled out 1/16 inch thick) 24 oz
Fondant (skin color) (mixed with 1/4 tsp Gum-Tex, tinted light copper) 5 oz white
Fondant (black) (for eyes and mouth) 1/2 oz

Instructions

1

Bake the Brownie

Bake and cool the brownie in the silicone mold, with the mold placed on a baking sheet. Smoothly coat with icing.

2

Make the Clothes

Roll out the red, green, blue, and white fondants to 1/16 inch thick. Cut and adhere with a wet brush: cut 1 1/2 x 6 inch rectangles to wrap the top of the brownie as a shirt; cut 3/4 x 6 1/2 inch rectangles to wrap the bottom as white pants.

3

Make the Head

Mix 5 oz of white fondant with 1/4 tsp Gum-Tex, tinting it light copper. Roll 1 1/2 inch balls for each head.

4

Make the Arms

Roll 1/4 x 1 1/2 inch long logs as arms, flatten one end and use a knife to score fingers. Cut 1/2 x 1 1/4 inch strips as sleeves. Cut 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch copper-colored triangles as the chest area. Cut 1/16 inch wide strips for the neckline.

5

Make the Baseball and Accessories

Roll 1/2 inch diameter white balls for the baseball. Roll small copper-colored balls for the nose, flatten balls for the ears. Tint 1/2 oz fondant black, roll small balls for the eyes, thin logs for the mouth, and adhere. Cut 2 inch circles for the hat, adhere and smooth. Cut 1 3/4 inch wide x 1/2 inch deep crescent shapes from matching fondant for the hat brim. Use a toothpick to score lines on the hat. Roll small round ball buttons to place on top of the hat. Make 3/4 x 1/2 inch ovals for shoes. Roll thin red rope-shaped strings to decorate the ball.

Assembly

Assemble all the parts. Each one serves 1 person.
