meaty mac ’n’ cheese
Hearty mac ’n’ cheese loaded with beef, corn, and salsa.
Ingredients
macaroni and cheese
1 package (7-1/4 ounces)
ground beef
1 pound
onion (chopped)
1/4 cup
salsa
1-1/2 cups
corn (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup
sliced ripe olives (drained)
1 can (2-1/4 ounces)
diced pimientos
3 tablespoons
shredded cheddar cheese
chopped tomato

Step 1
Set aside the cheese sauce mix from the macaroni and cheese; cook the macaroni according to package instructions.

Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, cook the ground beef and onion until the meat is no longer pink; drain. Add salsa, corn, olives, and pimientos; heat through.

Drain the macaroni; stir into the beef mixture along with the cheese sauce mix. Stir well to combine; heat through. Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese and chopped tomato.
