Octopus, Peanut, and Pork Trotter Soup
Octopus, peanuts, and pork front trotters are simmered together. The soup is believed to nourish the body and promote lactation, making it suitable for postpartum recovery from qi and blood deficiency and for low milk supply.

octopus (washed, soaked until soft, and cut into pieces)
100 g
peanuts
100–150 g
pig's front trotter (hair and hoof removed)

Step 1
Wash the octopus, soak until soft, and cut it into pieces. Remove any hair and the hoof from the pork trotter.

Place a pot over the heat and add enough water. Add the octopus pieces, peanuts, and pork trotter. Simmer until the pork is fully cooked and the peanuts are tender.
