Steamed Salmon

Ingredients

Salmon fillet (washed, drained, cut into two large pieces) 350 g
Lemon (washed, zest grated with a microplane, juice extracted) 1/2
Garlic (peeled, washed, minced) 2 cloves
Salt 2 g
Black pepper 1 g
Bay leaf 1 slice
Dry white wine 150 ml
Rosemary 2 g
Olive oil 10 ml

Instructions

1

Ingredient Preparation and Marination

Rinse the salmon fillet, drain well, and cut into two large pieces. Season with salt and black pepper, mix well, and let marinate to absorb the flavors. Wash the lemon, zest the outer peel into fine shreds using a microplane, then place the lemon flesh into a food processor and extract the juice. Peel the garlic cloves, wash them, and mince finely.

2

Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, lemon zest, lemon juice, and olive oil. Stir well until evenly blended to form the sauce.

3

Prepare for Steaming

Arrange the marinated salmon on a plate, scatter the minced garlic on top, add the bay leaf, drizzle with dry white wine, and sprinkle with rosemary.

4

Steam and Plate

Set a steamer over heat and pour in an appropriate amount of water. Place the steaming rack inside, lay the salmon on top, and cover. Once the water comes to a boil, steam over low heat for 8 minutes. Remove the salmon, transfer the fish to a clean plate, and drizzle with the prepared sauce.
