Sandwich

"My child absolutely loves sandwiches and never tires of eating them every day. I used to hesitate about making them, though, because sandwiches always came out cold — fine in summer, but not so pleasant in winter. I even bought a toaster and pre-cooked the meat and eggs, but the sandwich was still chilly when served. So whenever my kid asked for one, I'd make excuses and put it off — looking back, that was rather unfair. This problem is now solved. With a Joyoung sandwich maker, it's ready in three minutes and served hot from start to finish — wonderful. Sandwiches make a lovely breakfast: egg, meat, and cheese in one, paired with a glass of milk. My child eats happily, the meal is balanced and nutritious, and energy levels stay high. At home, our standard sandwich is two slices of toast, two slices of ham, one egg, one slice of cheese, and a few slices of cucumber or other vegetables — a well-balanced combo. We use good-quality toast and ham. The egg can be cooked in the microwave, scrambled in a skillet, or cracked straight onto the toast and cooked in the sandwich maker — all work well. My child normally doesn't like egg yolks, but tucked into a sandwich there's no fuss — every last bite disappears."

Instructions

1

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. Adjust the vegetables, cheese, and sauce to your liking. If you don't like cheese, pairing it with sauce is also very good. I pre-cook the eggs in the microwave: brush oil on a microwave-safe plate, crack the egg and gently break up the yolk, then microwave on high for one minute. I use a square plate, which fits the square bread perfectly.

Step 2

Turn on the sandwich maker. Place a slice of toast and a slice of ham on it. If you really love meat, you can add two slices.

Step 8

Take out the sandwich, cut it, and serve with milk. Time to eat! Do you like sandwiches? Many people don't like cheese, and that's completely normal—no need to force yourself. You can substitute it with your favorite sauce, which is also very good.
