Colorful Caps
Use tree-shaped molds to make Christmas hat–shaped cookies, decorated with polka dots or stripes.

3 Pc. Christmas Trees Cutter Set

Kelly Green, Christmas Red, Red-Red (Christmas Red mixed with Red-Red)
Instructions

Make the Cookies
Prepare and roll out dough. Cut cookies using triangle tree cutter from set; cut off trunks. Bake and cool.

Tint the Icing
Prepare icing and tint portions red, dark and light green; reserve some white.

Decorate the Polka Dot Version
Outline cookies with tip 3 and full-strength icing; let set. For polka dot cookies, flow in with thinned dark green; immediately pipe tip 3 dots in light green.

Decorate the Striped Version
For striped cookies, flow in lines of red and white starting at peak of cap; pipe each section before icing sets. Let dry.

Add the Trim
With full-strength white icing, pipe tip 7 ball or zigzag trim at bottom and swirl pompon at top.
