Pulled Sugar Lily
Form lily petals and leaves from the pulled sugar base, then assemble them into a decorative flower.
Ingredients
Pulled sugar body (needs to be kept warm and softened)
As needed
Leaf mold (optional)
1 piece
Instructions
1
Make the petals
Take a piece of pulled sugar, stretch one side to make it thin. Pinch the thin edge and pull outward to form a pointed petal, cut off with scissors. Repeat to make the required number of petals
2
Assemble the flower
Glue and assemble the petals into a lily shape
3
Make the stamen
Pull the sugar into thin threads, fold, and insert into the center of the flower
4
Make the leaves
Pull the sugar the same way as for petals, but make the shape wider to mimic leaves. Place the sugar piece on one half of the leaf mold, and use the other half to press out the leaf vein texture
