Freshly popped corn is sweetened with sugar and cooked until the popping slows down, then quickly poured into a larger dry basin to cool.

corn kernels to taste
white sugar to taste
oil to taste

Wash the corn and let the cleaned corn air dry.

Listen to the sound; if you feel there is basically no popping, stir appropriately, then continue to cover the pot with the lid.

Listen to the sound; if basically no more popping, uncover the lid and quickly pour into a larger dry basin.
