Instructions
Prepare the fondant cabins in advance
Add 1/2 tsp Gum-Tex to 4 oz of fondant. Tint 1 oz of fondant orange, purple, yellow, and green respectively; roll out to 1/8 inch thick. Use templates to cut cabins, roofs, and easels in each color. Tint royal icing to match the fondant colors; use icing to attach roofs to the different colored cabins, leaving a 1/4 inch overlap; use a #3 piping tip to pipe e-motion details. Let dry. Attach the easel to the back and let dry on a cornstarch-dusted cake board.
Make the candy boat hull
Tint melted white candy orange, purple, yellow, and green to match the fondant. Follow the mold instructions to make dessert shell boat shapes. Refrigerate until set; unmold and trim edges. Place the boat shells into the outer mold; fill with the rice cereal treat mixture to just below the top. Seal with melted candy and smooth the top. Refrigerate until set; unmold.
Assemble the candy boat
Use melted candy to attach the cabins to the boat. Use a craft knife to poke small holes in the candy for placing animals. Insert the jungle buddies cutouts, trimming if needed. Each boat serves 1.
