Braised Pork with Yam
Chinese yam is highly nutrient-dense, packed with starch, protein, mucilage and other essential nutrients. The amylase it contains breaks down starch into glucose to provide direct energy for the brain, playing a key role in supporting cognitive function. It is also rich in choline and lecithin, which help boost memory. Additionally, it enhances nerve cell activity, nourishes heart qi, calms the mind, eases forgetfulness, and promotes overall brain health and memory.
This braised pork with Chinese yam uses easy-to-source ingredients, comes together with simple preparation steps, has vibrant colors, and is both nutritious and delicious.
