Almond cake or sweet pastry base
Chocolate or chocolate icing (see page 239)

Assembly
Assemble the chocolate sponge cake with an appropriate cream filling on an almond cake or sweet pastry base in the usual manner.

Coating
Cover the surface of the cake with chocolate or a suitable chocolate icing (see page 239).
