Ingredients

eggs 2
milk (divided) 2 cups
butter (melted) 1/2 cup
celery (chopped) 1/2 cup
onion (finely chopped) 1 teaspoon
bread (cubed) 8 slices
deli ham (rolled up) 12 thin slices
Swiss cheese (shredded) 2 cups (8 ounces)
cooked chicken (cubed) 2-1/2 cups
condensed cream of chicken soup (undiluted) 1 can (10-3/4 ounces)

Instructions

Step 1

In a large bowl, beat the eggs and 1-1/2 cups of milk. Add the melted butter, chopped celery, and finely chopped onion. Stir in the cubed bread.

Step 2

Pour half of the mixture into a greased 3-quart slow cooker. Top with half of the rolled deli ham, shredded Swiss cheese, and cubed cooked chicken. Mix the condensed cream of chicken soup with the remaining milk, then pour half of this mixture over the chicken layer. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.

Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours, until a thermometer inserted into the mixture reads 160°.
