Instructions

1

Prepare gingerbread dough

Prepare the gingerbread dough and roll it out to ⅛ inch thick.

2

Cut house pieces

Using a comfort-grip cutter, cut out 2 house front and back pieces, 2 side walls (each 2×2½ inches high), and 2 roof panels (each 3½×2⅞ inches high). Cut out the chimney. Bake and cool all pieces. If the pieces expand during baking, trim them to their original sizes with a serrated knife after cooling.

3

Make gingerbread boys

Cut out about 18-24 gingerbread boys using the cutters from the set; bake and cool.

4

Assemble house

Assemble and decorate the house (p.126). Decorate the gingerbread boys' facial features with a #1 tip, and their clothes with a #2 tip; let dry. Place the boys into the house. Each cookie serves 1 person.
