Stir-Fried Pork Intestines with Three Vegetables

Story

This dish is a vibrant and flavorful way to enjoy pork intestines. The high-heat cooking method ensures the meat stays tender while absorbing the savory aromatics, and the crisp vegetables add a fresh crunch to every bite.

Ingredients

Cleaned pork intestines 300g
Onion 1/2, sliced into strips
Green bell pepper 1/2, sliced into strips
Red bell pepper 1/2, sliced into strips
Ginger 1 tbsp, minced
Garlic 2 cloves, minced
Light soy sauce 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Salt to taste
MSG or chicken bouillon powder 1 pinch

Instructions

1

Aromatics and Intestines

Heat a wok over high heat and add oil. Once hot, toss in the minced ginger and garlic and stir-fry until fragrant. Add the prepared pork intestines and stir-fry vigorously for a few minutes. Season with salt, light soy sauce, and a teaspoon of sugar to build the base flavor.

2

Add Vegetables

Throw in the sliced onion, green pepper, and red pepper strips. Continue to stir-fry over high heat so the vegetables retain their crunch and cook quickly.

3

Finish and Serve

Sprinkle in a pinch of MSG or chicken bouillon for a savory boost. Give everything a final toss to combine, then transfer immediately to a serving plate and enjoy while hot.
