Story

A fun twist on pizza using simple toast as the base. The sweetness of pineapple pairs perfectly with savory chicken and gooey cheese.

Ingredients

bread slices 2 thick slices
chicken breast 1 fillet, about 150g
pineapple chunks 1/3 cup
pizza sauce 3 tablespoons
mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup shredded
salt and pepper to taste
olive oil 1 teaspoon

Cook the chicken

Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper. Heat a little oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken about 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Let it rest, then cut into small bite-sized pieces.

Prep the toast bases

Spread pizza sauce evenly over one side of each bread slice. If you like, add a thin layer of tomato sauce on top for extra tang.

Layer the toppings

Distribute the chopped chicken pieces over the sauced toast. Add diced pineapple chunks on top. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over everything.

Air fry

Place the assembled toasts in the air fryer basket. Cook at 180°C (350°F) for about 5-8 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and golden. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
