White Strawberry Coconut Negroni

Story

This modern take on the Italian classic swaps soda for coconut water, adding natural sweetness and a smooth mouthfeel. White strawberries bring delicate flavor and visual appeal—though regular strawberries work beautifully if unavailable.

Ingredients

Gin 1 oz
Sweet vermouth 1 oz
Campari (bitter liqueur) 1 oz
Coconut water 1 oz
White strawberry 1-2 ripe berries
Ice cubes as needed

Instructions

1

Prep the garnish

Slice one white strawberry lengthwise. Set aside for finishing the drink.

2

Muddle and shake

Place the remaining strawberry(s) in a cocktail shaker. Muddle gently to release juices. Add gin, coconut water, and a generous handful of ice. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

3

Build the glass

Fill a rocks or old-fashioned glass with fresh ice cubes. Pour in the sweet vermouth and Campari. Stir gently to combine.

4

Strain and serve

Strain the shaken mixture into the glass over the ice. Garnish with the reserved strawberry slice and serve immediately.
