Christmas Snowman Cake Bites

Story

These charming snowman treats are a fun Christmas activity to do with kids or a creative addition to your holiday dessert table. The soft cake pairs beautifully with the light cream and crunchy cookie elements.

Ingredients

rolled cake (Swiss roll) 1 cake, cut into 8 slices
heavy whipping cream 1 cup
round butter cookies 6 cookies
powdered sugar 2 tablespoons
vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon
mini chocolate chips for eyes and buttons

Instructions

1

Whip the cream

Pour the heavy cream into a large bowl. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until soft peaks form. The cream should hold its shape but still look light and airy.

2

Prepare the cake layers

Cut the rolled cake into 6 equal slices (save the extras for snacking!). Lay 3 slices side by side on each serving plate to form a rectangular base layer.

3

Assemble the snowmen

Spread a generous layer of whipped cream over the cake slices. Place a round cookie near the top of each cluster—this becomes the snowman's face. Add more cream around and on top of the cookie.

4

Decorate the faces

Use mini chocolate chips to create two eyes on each cookie. Add a small smile if desired. Sprinkle a light dusting of powdered sugar over the tops to give a snowy appearance.
