Instructions
Step 1
You can directly mince the bacon and roll it inside~ or you can stir-fry the bacon to render out the fat~ I think the stir-fried one tastes better, but because there is a lot of oil, the middle of my toast ended up with various big holes! Next time I'll try directly adding minced bacon~ There was a lot before stir-frying, but very little left after stir-frying~ sigh~ it shrinks severely~
Step 2
For the first proof, ferment the dough until it is 2 times its original size. In summer, about 1 hour at room temperature is enough~ After 40 minutes, keep observing it at any time to avoid over-fermentation~ Divide the fermented dough into 3 portions~ Round them once, and let rest for 10 minutes~
Step 3
Then roll it out into a long sheet, and roll it up. Let it rest for another 5 minutes~ Roll it out into a rectangular sheet again~ Evenly spread the stir-fried bacon, oil-packed tomatoes, and cheese over the dough sheet~ Roll it up into a log, cut it in half from the middle~ and arrange them in the toast mold~
Step 4
Second proof for 40-50 minutes~ Sprinkle shredded cheese and a little dried chives on the surface~ Fresh ones are also fine~ Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 30-40 minutes~
