Braised Chicken with Raisins

Ingredients

chicken (washed, cut into 20 pieces, rubbed with salt and pepper to marinate briefly) 1000 g
raisins 100 g
tomatoes (washed and chopped) 125 g
potatoes (washed and chopped) 750 g
green bell peppers (washed and chopped) 150 g
fresh peas 125 g
celery (washed and minced) 50 g
onions (washed and diced) 50 g
vegetable oil 100 g
garlic (washed and minced) 5 g
vinegar essence 2.5 g
fine salt to taste
ground pepper a pinch
chicken broth to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the chicken and cut it into 20 pieces. Rub with a pinch of salt and pepper and set aside to marinate briefly. Wash the tomatoes, pumpkin, and green bell peppers, then cut them into chunks. Wash the onions and dice them.

Wash the garlic and celery, then mince them. Set aside.

Heat a pot, then pour in the vegetable oil. When the oil is moderately hot, add the garlic and onions and sauté until lightly golden. Add the chicken pieces and stir-fry until golden. Add the tomatoes and celery and cook through. Pour in an appropriate amount of chicken broth and simmer over low heat until the chicken is about 80% cooked. Add the raisins, potatoes, green bell peppers, and peas, mix well, and continue to simmer over low heat until fully cooked. Season with fine salt, pepper, and vinegar essence to taste. Serve.
