Ingredients

tapioca starch 150 g
glutinous rice flour 100 g
water 1/2 cup
powdered cheese 50 g
salt 1/2 tsp
milk 1/2 cup

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180°C; line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Make the batter

Place the glutinous rice flour in a bowl, add the water, and stir evenly with a rubber spatula.

Mix into a dough

Add the tapioca starch, powdered cheese, salt, and milk to the previous mixture, and continue stirring until smooth and forming a cohesive dough.

Portion and bake

Wet 2 teaspoons, scoop a heaping spoonful, and drop rounded portions onto the baking tray with some spacing. Bake at 180°C for 15–20 minutes until light yellow.
