Story

The high butter content gives this bread an exceptionally rich aroma and a tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture. Baking it in the bread machine ensures a deep, golden crust that contrasts beautifully with the soft interior. Enjoy it warm from the oven or let it cool on a wire rack for a delightful treat.

Step 3

Start the dough kneading program for 20 minutes; at this point, the dough can be stretched into a relatively thick film

Start the dough kneading program again and add butter. Add the butter in three batches, taking it directly from the refrigerator each time without softening. Knead until the dough has completely absorbed the butter before adding the next batch

Step 5

After all the butter has been added and is completely kneaded into the dough, the dough will have become very smooth and can be stretched into a thin film

Step 7

The fermented dough has doubled in size
