Chocolate Chip Cupcakes
Chocolate chip cupcakes made by folding chocolate chips into a basic chocolate batter.
Ingredients
butter
125 g
light brown sugar
150 g
eggs

self-raising flour / cake flour
100 g
cocoa powder
50 g
chocolate chips
100 g
Instructions

Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven to 180˚C (350˚F, gas mark 4).

Mix the batter
Cream together the butter, brown sugar, eggs, flour and cocoa powder for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.

Add chocolate chips
Fold the chocolate chips into the mixture and stir thoroughly for 1-2 minutes.

Bake
Divide the mixture evenly into paper cupcake cases. Bake for 20 minutes until risen.
