Concentrated Tea

Ingredients

Tea leaves (can adjust using large-batch tea method) Double the tea leaves or halve the water
Hot water (mix in when drinking) Equal amount to the concentrated tea

Instructions

1

Brewing Concentrated Tea

Double the amount of tea leaves or halve the water for steeping to obtain double-strength tea. Do not steep longer using the large-batch tea ratio.

2

Cooling and Storage

Separate the brewed tea from the leaves and cool it down as quickly as possible. You can place it in cold water to cool or refrigerate it.

3

Serving Preparation

When drinking, mix in an equal amount of hot water to dilute to a palatable concentration and temperature. In hot weather, the water temperature can be lower; in cold weather, it can be higher or kept warm in an insulated cup.

4

Handling Emulsification

If the tea becomes cloudy/white (emulsification), adding hot water or warming it will restore the original color.
