Step 1
After roasting the peanuts, ensure they are fully cooked and rub off the skins. Crack in an egg, add an appropriate amount of 13-spice powder, and mix. In a separate bowl, add flour, add the peanuts in batches, and stir until they form separate granules as shown in the picture.

Add oil to a wok. Once the oil is hot, add the peanut balls and fry until the outer surface turns yellow. Drain the oil and remove them.

Sprinkle sugar on the fried peanut balls while they are still hot; they are particularly delicious, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
