Wash the sweet potatoes and steam/boil until cooked.

When a chopstick pierces easily through, peel off the skin.

Place the sweet potatoes in a bowl and mash into a smooth puree.

Scoop an appropriate amount of sweet potato puree with a small spoon, roll into a ball, dip in flour, and shape into round balls.

Heat oil in a pan to about 60% hot (around 180°C), add the balls and fry over medium-low heat.
Step 6
When all the balls float to the surface and turn golden with a firm crust, remove and drain the oil.
Step 7
Done. You can eat them as is, or for a sweet version, sprinkle with sugar on top — that's the "Golden Balls Falling Snow."
