Ingredients
Yam
300g, peeled and cut into 3-inch sticks
Orange or apple juice
60ml
Sugar or honey
1 tablespoon
Colorful sprinkles
for garnish
Instructions
1
Prep the yam
Peel the yam and cut into uniform sticks about 3 inches long. Rinse to remove any starch.
2
Cook the yam
Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. Add the yam sticks and cook for about 5 minutes until they feel tender when pierced with a fork but still hold their shape. Drain well.
3
Make the glaze
While the yam cooks, mix the fruit juice with sugar or honey in a small bowl until the sweetener dissolves.
4
Assemble and serve
Arrange the drained yam sticks on a serving plate. Drizzle the fruit glaze evenly over the top. Finish with a generous sprinkle of colorful sprinkles for a fun, eye-catching presentation.
