Instructions
Cook the milk tea
Pour milk into a small saucepan and add sugar. Add the black tea bag and simmer the milk tea over medium-low heat, shaking the tea bag often as it cooks. Once done, let it cool, then pour into a cup and refrigerate until chilled.
Mix the grass jelly powder
Measure 30 g of grass jelly powder into a small saucepan. Add 150 ml of cold water and stir until smooth with no lumps.
Cook the grass jelly
Slowly pour in 700 ml of boiling water while stirring continuously in one direction. Once combined, turn on the heat and bring to a boil again, then turn off the heat.
Chill the grass jelly
Pour the cooked grass jelly into a storage container. Let it cool, then refrigerate until chilled and set.
Assemble the drink
Once the grass jelly is chilled, use a small knife to gently cut it into cubes. Place the cubes into a cup. Pour in the chilled milk tea, add a pinch of ice cubes, and enjoy ice cold.
