Honey Black Pepper Pork Jerky
Savory ground pork seasoned with aromatics and black pepper, glazed with honey and oven-dried to chewy perfection.
Story
This homemade jerky uses ground pork for a tender bite that is easier to make than slicing raw meat. The combination of savory soy sauce, aromatic sesame oil, and a sweet honey glaze creates an addictive snack.

Instructions
Season the Meat
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, sugar, black pepper, and chicken bouillon powder. Mix thoroughly in one direction until the seasonings are evenly distributed.
Add liquids
Pour in the yellow wine, light soy sauce, and dark soy sauce one by one, mixing well after each addition. Finish by drizzling in the sesame oil and mixing again to ensure the meat is sticky and well-marinated.
Shape the Jerky
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Spread half of the seasoned meat mixture onto the sheet. Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to press it into a thin, even layer.
First Bake
Preheat your oven to 180°C (355°F). Place the tray in the middle rack and bake for 15 minutes to set the meat.
Glaze and Finish
Remove the tray from the oven. Brush the surface of the meat generously with honey. Lower the oven temperature to 160°C (320°F) and return the tray to bake for another 10 minutes, or until the edges are slightly crisp and the surface is caramelized.
