Ingredients
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the almonds, grind them into a fine paste, and place in a mixing bowl.
Step 2
Add the agar powder to 200g of water, heat over low heat and stir continuously until the agar is completely dissolved. Add the white sugar and stir until fully dissolved. Let the mixture cool to lukewarm, then pour it into the prepared almond paste and mix thoroughly. Pour the mixture into a large 15-inch serving platter and let it cool and set completely.
Step 3
Once the almond jelly is fully set, cut 7 long strips in a fan shape from the center of the jelly, leaving small gaps between each strip. Cut the sweet pea paste into strips the same size as the almond jelly strips and arrange them on the platter. Cut a small round piece of sweet pea paste to place at the base of the fan shape. Cut 7 extra long thin strips of sweet pea paste to use as the fan ribs. Cut the hawthorn jelly into thin strips to use as the fan tassel. Decorate the edges of the platter as desired to finish.
