Jar Meat

Ingredients
Pork hard rib meat (cut into 2 cm cubes, blanched and rinsed)
500 g
Soy sauce
15 g
Rock sugar
10 g
Cinnamon
10 g
Scallion segments
5 g
Ginger slices

Step 1
Cut the pork hard rib into 2 cm cubes, blanch in a pot of boiling water, and rinse clean with fresh water.

Place the meat pieces in a jar, add the soy sauce, rock sugar, cinnamon, scallion segments, ginger slices, and fresh water (enough to submerge the meat). Cover the jar opening with a plate. First bring to a boil over high heat, then move to low heat and braise until the sauce thickens and the meat becomes tender and falls apart.
