Korean-style Honey Red Date Tea

For best results, use plump red dates with thick flesh that are not overly dried, as this will produce honey red date tea with a rich date aroma and great mouthfeel. Simmer the red dates for a longer time until the liquid evaporates, the syrup thickens, and the dates turn translucent. Add honey and stir after the mixture cools slightly, then bottle it once it is completely cooled. After sealing the bottle, you can place it upside down for 10 minutes to remove air, then refrigerate it to extend its storage time.
