Lamb Stewed with Winter Melon

Winter melon (peeled, washed, and cut into rib-sized slices)

Step 1
First, peel and wash the winter melon, and cut it into rib-sized slices. Place a wok over high heat, pour in the cooking oil and heat it, add the chopped green onions to release their aroma, add the lamb and stir-fry until cooked, add the winter melon slices, then move the wok to medium-low heat, add soy sauce and salt, and simmer until the winter melon becomes tender.

When removing from the heat, skim off the foam, sprinkle in the MSG, drizzle in a little sesame oil, and sprinkle with cilantro to finish. If more broth is added, it becomes lamb and winter melon soup.
