Neufchâtel Bread Dipped in Hot Melted Cheese
Hot melted cheese made with Gruyère and Emmental, infused with white wine, cherry brandy, and complementary ingredients, served for dipping crusty bread or fresh vegetables.

shredded Gruyère cheese

cornstarch

freshly ground black pepper

crusty bread (square, day-old)
1 plate
sliced carrot
to taste
sliced zucchini
to taste
Instructions

Prepare the Cheese Pot
First, rub the cheese pot with a clove of garlic.

Add Cheese and Cornstarch
Add the shredded Gruyère and Emmental cheese to the pot, and mix thoroughly with the cornstarch.

Add Alcohol and Seasonings
Add the white wine, lemon juice, and cherry brandy, and mix until uniform.

Heat and Melt
Heat the mixture while stirring constantly to prevent it from sticking to the bottom. Continue until the cheese has melted.

Season
Add freshly ground black pepper, nutmeg, and other seasonings, then stir to combine evenly.

Serve
Serve immediately with day-old square crusty bread, or enjoy by dipping sliced vegetables such as carrots or zucchini into the melted cheese.
