Old Ginger Pork Slice Soup

Ingredients

pork lean meat (washed and cut into 3 cm long, 2.5 cm wide thin slices) 100 g
old ginger (washed and cut into 1 cm long, 0.3 cm thick slices) 20 g
scallion (cut into 1.5 cm long small sections) 5 g
clear meat broth 400 g
rendered pork lard to taste
refined salt to taste
soy sauce to taste
MSG to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the pork lean meat and cut into 3 cm long, 2.5 cm wide thin slices; wash the old ginger and cut into 1 cm long, 0.3 cm thick slices; cut the scallions into 1.5 cm long small sections.

Place a wok over high heat, add rendered pork lard and heat until half-hot. Add the pork slices and old ginger, stir-fry until cooked through. Add 400 g of clear meat broth and bring to a boil. Switch to low heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Add refined salt, soy sauce, MSG, and scallion segments, then remove from heat and serve.
