Rehmannia root (wrapped in cheesecloth)

Step 1
Wash the pig pancreas and cut it into pieces; wash the water chestnuts, peel them, and cut each in half.

Combine the prepared ingredients with the Job's tears, Chinese yam, astragalus root, and rehmannia root (wrapped in cheesecloth) in a pot, add water, and simmer until the pig pancreas is thoroughly cooked. Remove the herb sachet before serving.
