Pineapple Braised Pork Ribs
A signature Cantonese dish of pineapple braised with pork ribs, releasing a rich fruity aroma while the ribs become tender enough to fall off the bone.
Ingredients
Pork ribs (chopped into blocks)

Pineapple (cut into chunks)
150g
Ketchup (for seasoning)

Oil (for frying and stir-frying)

Soy sauce (for marinating and stir-frying)
to taste
Cooking wine (to remove odors and add aroma)
to taste
Scallions (cut into segments for aroma)
to taste
Ginger (sliced for aroma)
to taste
MSG (for seasoning)
to taste
Water (for cooking)

Instructions

Marinate the ribs
Marinate the ribs with soy sauce and drain.

Fry the ribs
Then briefly fry in hot oil until the surface changes color.

Stir-fry the seasonings
Once the oil is hot, sauté scallions and ginger, then add soy sauce, cooking wine, ketchup, MSG, and water, and stir-fry briefly.

Braise the ribs
Add the ribs and simmer over low heat until the meat is tender, then add the pineapple chunks and stir-fry until soft.
