Salmon Skewers

Ingredients

honey 4 tbsp
soy sauce 4 tsp
rice vinegar 2 tsp
ginger (grated) 1/4 tsp
salmon fillet (skinless, diced) 6 oz (170 g)
water 1 tsp
wooden skewers (soaked in warm water for 30 minutes) 6

Step 1

Soak the wooden skewers in warm water for 30 minutes. Preheat the grill to high heat. Combine the honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Pour half into a pot to set aside, leave the other half in the bowl, and add the minced ginger.

Pour the ginger mixture over the salmon and toss to coat evenly. Thread the salmon onto the skewers and place them on a foil-lined baking sheet.

Grill the salmon for 2-3 minutes per side until cooked through. Add the water to the sauce in the pot and simmer for 30 seconds, then serve with the salmon skewers.
