Salt Pork with Tofu

Ingredients

salt pork (skin-on, boiled and cut into 1.5 cm cubes) 100 g
tofu (cut into 1.5 cm cubes) 250 g
green onions (cut into segments) 2
lard (add just before finishing) a pinch

Instructions

1

Boil the salt pork and reserve broth

Boil the salt pork in plain water until cooked through, then remove and reserve the broth. Cut the green onions into segments.

2

Cube and combine in the wok

Cut both the salt pork and the tofu into 1.5 cm cubes. Place them in a wok, pour in the reserved salt pork broth, and bring to a rolling boil over high heat.

3

Braise until flavorful

Once boiling, turn down the heat and braise gently. When the tofu floats to the surface, add the green onion segments and the lard, then remove from heat and serve.
