Sea Cucumber and Scallop Seaweed Soup
A stewed soup featuring sea cucumber, dried scallops, and kelp as core ingredients, combined with selfheal and goji berries, with blood pressure-lowering benefits.

Sea cucumber (soaked overnight, then simmered with ginger and scallion until soft)

Instructions

Step 1
Soak the sea cucumber and dried scallops overnight. Simmer the sea cucumber with ginger and scallion until tender. Decoct the prunella vulgaris in water to extract its juice.

Step 2
Slice the dried scallops, sea cucumber, and kelp into thin strips. Place them all into a stewing pot together with the goji berries, ginger, scallion, and cooking wine. Add 7 bowls of water and stew until reduced to about 3 and a half bowls of broth.

Pour the prunella vulgaris decoction into the sea cucumber and scallop soup. Season with salt and MSG to taste, and serve.
