Sesame Bok Choy
Pickled shredded high-stem Chinese cabbage stalks tossed with shredded ginger, sliced garlic, five-spice powder, chili powder and sesame seeds for a fresh, crisp, aromatic and spicy flavor.

Tall-stem bok choy stalks (choose tender white ones, julienned)

Salt (for marinating)

Sesame oil or toasted sesame oil (for sealing)

Instructions

Julienne and sun-dry
Select tender white stalks, julienne them finely, spread them on a bamboo tray, and sun-dry for a few days.

Marinate and season
Marinate with salt, squeeze out the excess water, and mix with julienned ginger, sliced garlic, five-spice powder, chili powder, and sesame seeds.

Jar and seal
Pack tightly into a jar, seal the surface with sesame oil or toasted sesame oil, and it is ready to open and eat after half a month.
