Ingredients

butter to taste
white sugar to taste
salt to taste
cashews to taste
walnuts to taste
dry mix A (flour, etc.) to taste
powdered sugar (for coating the surface) to taste

Instructions

1

Melt the butter

Put the butter in a small saucepan, turn on medium heat, and stir with a wooden spatula as it melts.

2

Cool the butter

When the pan takes on a toasted color, remove it from the heat and set it on a damp kitchen towel to cool.

3

Mix in the nuts

Add the white sugar, salt, cashews, and walnuts to the butter from step 2 and stir until the white sugar is fully dissolved.

4

Combine with the dry mix

Add the mixture from step 3 to a bowl containing dry mix A and stir evenly with a plastic spatula.

5

Rest the dough

Knead the mixture from step 4 into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

6

Bake

Place the pieces on a baking sheet with some space between them, then bake in an oven preheated to 170°C for 20-25 minutes.

7

Coat with powdered sugar

Once step 6 is baked and the heat has dissipated, place the cookies into a plastic bag containing powdered sugar. Hold the bag with one hand and rotate the cookies with the other hand until they are evenly coated with powdered sugar.
