Sour and Spicy Radish Strips

Crisp radish strips and celery are pickled with white vinegar, rock sugar, and red chilies for a tangy, refreshing side dish.

Sour and Spicy Radish Strips

Ingredients

Radish 1000g
Celery 300g
White vinegar 600ml
Salt 3g
Rock sugar 10g
Chinese onion to taste
Red chili to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare ingredients: white radish, celery, chili, white vinegar, etc.;

Peel and wash the radish, then cut into thick strips;

Sprinkle salt evenly and marinate for 1 hour;

Wash the celery, cut into sections, sprinkle with salt and marinate;

Drain the salted radish strips, celery, red chili, and Chinese onion, then place in a glass jar; PS: If you don't have Chinese onion, you can omit it;

Add rock sugar, pour in sour vinegar and an appropriate amount of boiled water, then let cool;
