Story

This dish delivers a satisfying kick of heat and savory depth. It is a quick, rustic meal perfect for weeknight dinners when you crave something bold and flavorful.

Ingredients

Chicken (preferably Silkie or Yellow Feather) 500g, cut into bite-sized pieces
Green chili peppers 3-4, sliced
Ginger 1 piece, minced
Garlic 3 cloves, minced
Cooking wine 1 tbsp
Light soy sauce 1 tbsp
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp

Instructions

1

Marinate the Chicken

Place the chopped chicken in a bowl. Add the cooking wine and light soy sauce, mixing well to coat. Let it sit for about 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

2

Prepare Aromatics and Peppers

While the chicken marinates, remove the seeds from the green chili peppers and slice them into chunks. Finely mince the ginger and garlic.

3

Stir-Fry the Dish

Heat oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until the meat turns white and is mostly cooked through. Toss in the ginger, garlic, and chili peppers. Continue to cook for another few minutes until the peppers are tender-crisp and the chicken is fully cooked. Serve hot with steamed rice.
