Steamed Lobster with Vermicelli and Garlic
A classic seafood dish featuring succulent lobster steamed atop soaked vermicelli, topped with a savory and aromatic garlic sauce.
Ingredients
Lobster
1 whole
Vermicelli noodles (glass noodles)
as needed
Garlic
to taste
Green, red, and yellow bell peppers
to taste
Cooking oil
as needed
Oyster sauce
to taste
Chicken powder or sea salt
to taste
Instructions

Prepare the aromatics
Finely shred the green, red, and yellow bell peppers, then chop them into small pieces.

Make the garlic sauce
Heat oil in a pan and add the minced garlic. Add the chopped bell peppers and stir-fry until fragrant.

Season the sauce
Add the oyster sauce and chicken powder (or sea salt). Continue to stir-fry evenly, then remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare the lobster and noodles
Cut the lobster meat into a few segments to help it absorb the flavor. Place the lobster in a steaming basket and arrange the vermicelli underneath.

Assemble and steam
Pour the prepared garlic sauce evenly over the lobster. Place the basket in the steamer and steam for about 10 minutes.
