Stir-fried Napa Cabbage Stems
Golden-red in color, with a savory, lightly sweet-and-sour taste; traditionally believed to support bowel health.

Napa cabbage stems (washed, first cut into 2cm-wide strips, then diagonally sliced into thin pieces)

vinegar
2.5ml
soy sauce
30ml
cornstarch slurry

Mix Sauce and Prepare Cabbage
Mix the cornstarch slurry, soy sauce, sugar, and vinegar in a bowl, add a small amount of water, and stir well to make a uniform sauce. Wash the Napa cabbage stems, first cut them into 2cm-wide strips, then diagonally slice them into thin pieces.

Stir-fry and Thicken
Place the pot on the stove, add the cooking oil and heat until hot. Add the cabbage stems and stir-fry until tender. Stir the sauce in the bowl evenly, then pour it into the pot. Continue stir-frying until the liquid thickens, then it is done.
