Stir-Fried Pork with Gai Lan

Ingredients

pork (cut into strips) 150 g
gai lan (wash tender stems and leaves, cut into about 4.5 cm lengths) 100 g
peanut oil 25 g
soy sauce 20 g
cooking wine a pinch
ground pepper a pinch
salt a pinch
MSG a pinch
scallion (minced) a pinch
ginger (minced) a pinch

Instructions

1

Ingredient Preparation

Cut the pork into strips, and mince the scallion and ginger. Wash the tender stems and leaves of the gai lan, then cut into about 4.5 cm lengths and set aside.

2

Stir-Frying

Heat the wok, add the peanut oil and heat to about 50% hot. Add the pork strips and quickly stir-fry. When the pork strips separate and turn white, add the minced scallion and ginger and stir-fry a few times. Immediately add the soy sauce, cooking wine, and ground pepper, stirring so the sauce evenly coats the pork. Then add the gai lan and stir-fry together. Finally add the salt and MSG, stir-fry a few more times, and it is done.
